Contract Logistik Manager, AMXL 3PFC
Job Description
EU AMXL Operations team is looking for a 3PL / Contract Logistics Manager to join the team and play a role in the overall management for the Germany AMXL 3PFC team.
The role will be responsible for a part of the 3PL operations in Demand reports to the MEU Manager 3PL for AMXL in Europe.
The role includes the overall interfacing with Retail, Supply Chain and Transportation Teams and external as well as internal Fulfillment Operations partner.
Key job responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and controlling quality, performance, cost and capacity of AMXL external fulfillment provider (3PL)
- Contribute and lead major projects within the EU AMXL Fulfillment Operations / Supply Chain / Transportation team to support the growth of our business and selection.
- Monitor and analyze customer experience and delivery performance
- Maintain and develop KPI and SLA with 3PL/carriers though daily management.
- Contribute to process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with the EU and Worldwide AMXL Fulfillment Operations, Supply Chain, Retail, Customer Service and Transportation teams.
- Drives contract negotiations and ramp-ups of new external fulfillment partners.

Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) looks after heavy items like furniture and large home appliances. Our team manages the entire service, from supply chain fulfilment to delivery and returns. What sets this service apart from others is the extra level of customer care. Not only do we deliver large items, but we unpack, assemble and install them, and take away old items where needed. With a focus on safety, productivity and innovation, we’re changing the way customers buy and receive large goods for the better.
We have ambitious plans to expand our specialist fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK and Europe. While those of us who work in delivery stations will do some night shifts, most of us work during the day. Our team is made up of people across operations, supply chain, business intelligence and programme management, and everyone plays a crucial role in growing this part of the business
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Proven track record of delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality.
- Strong data analysis skills - Ability to produce, interpret and draw conclusions from data.
- Technical Expertise - Solution-driven approach to systems & processes.
- Fluent German, English essential, other languages desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master, Diploma Degree or MBA is preferred
- Proficiency in Analytical tools, as Data-warehouse tables; SQL / Visual Basic.
