Data Center Infrastructure Engineer Intern
Job Description
Amazon Web Services is looking for Data Center Regional Engineering Technical Support Interns to join our Data Center Engineering Technical Support Team. This committed group works to provide design review and essential technical support to the physical infrastructure that supports Amazon Web Services.
As an intern, you will have the chance to participate in full life-cycle technical supports of data centers, from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. You will learn under the guidance of experienced engineers and have the opportunity to engage with various technical issues and diverse teams.

Key job responsibilities
• Assist in reviewing designs for new data centers, including participation in design input and submittal review processes;
• Provide technical supports to new colocation construction projects under supervision, regarding the aspects of construction, commissioning, and process handover, etc.;
• Learn about techniques for troubleshooting, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and creation of Corrective Action (CA) documentation;
• Assist in providing technical support for existing data center upgrades and design solutions under supervision; and
• Help conduct engineering site audits, and learn how to produce reports outlining risks with recommended mitigations.
Basic Qualifications
• Be interested in data center electrical, control system technology;
• Basic understanding of data centers, power systems, or industrial facilities;
• Strong self-study capability;
• Good English reading and writing skills, with CET 6 or similar English level;
• Proficient in Office software; and
• Intern work period: 3-5 working days/week for 3-6 months from June 2025 to September/December 2025;
Preferred Qualifications
• Internship experience in relevant industry;
• Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical equipment/design; and
• Ability to perform independently.
