Job Description
Amazon Web Services is seeking an capable and motivated Administrative Professional with a strong history of high performance to support our Japan AWS Global Sales Team, based in Tokyo. This role will support the effectiveness and efficiency, both internally and externally, of the Japan AWS Global Sales Team, as well as ensure smart business planning and coordination across the wider business and public policy teams. The role will also work collaboratively with other International AWS Global Sales Executive Assistants across our region to support overall administrative department goals.

This role requires outstanding skills in planning, time-management, and organization, superior attention to detail, an ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple internal and external requests in a calm, friendly and efficient way. The successful candidate will be trusted to handle confidential and sensitive information, and be able to work professionally with senior business executives, government and public policy stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience of working well in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder corporate organization.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little to no guidance, be very strong in anticipating team, and react with appropriate urgency and action to unanticipated developments or situations.

Key job responsibilities
· Management of complex calendar and scheduling requirements.
· Driving key team activities, including staff meeting agendas, space planning, and travel coordination.
· Management of team calendars, documents, and other team resources.
· Executing organization-wide initiatives — influence and align stakeholders, define project plans, manage implementation activities, and develop all processes associated with program roll-out and ongoing support.
· Build and maintain reporting for areas of responsibility.

Basic Qualifications


- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience assisting at the executive level in a fast-paced environment.
- High levels of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and dealing with people.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills both in Japanese and English.

- Detailed planning, time management and organizational skills are required.
- Positive, proactive and able to always exercise great judgment.
- Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment.
- Experience in a complex corporate organization
- Experience supporting Leadership Teams within a client driven / sales organization
- Experience in building processes and mechanisms to simplify operational cadence within a Leadership Team and across organization
