Growth Operations Manager, User Acquisition
Job Description
**About the Role**
The Growth operations team is responsible for growing our consumer base, and increasing their engagement, while also being the advocate of the consumer internally in Uber. We serve millions of consumers every day and we work with stakeholders across the business to deliver the best possible experience and outcomes for our consumers.
We are looking for a sharp, highly motivated candidate to join our Japan Growth Operations team - we currently have multiple open roles in this team, hence we will be sourcing for all of them throughout the hiring process.
All are meaningful roles passionate about developing and executing strategies to ensure Uber Eats hits its growth goals at the lowest possible investment and responsible for incubating new initiatives and experimenting with the goal of continuing to improve the value of every customer to Uber.
\-\-\-\- What You'll Do ----
1. Ideate, create and execute acquisition campaigns to fuel Uber Eats' continued new user growth
2. Actively participate in the team's efforts to elevate the broader team's impact and collaborate on setting the strategy
3. Be curious and proactively search for new acquisition channels or features which could improve our user acquisition efforts and provide a seamless Eater experience
4. Continuously challenge the status quo with a belief that opportunities for improvement persist
\-\-\-\- What You'll Need ----
1. Strong problem solving skills rooted in data-driven insights that guide sound decision making, preferably with experience in experiment design (A/B testing, statistical analysis etc)
2. Fluent English (written & spoken)
3. Proficiency in SQL or other (related) programming language
4. Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities. Scaling new initiatives will occur quickly and require working across teams in Japan
5. Good communication skills that will allow you to clearly explain your work and to participate in constructive debate
6. A growth mindset
