Interested in innovating to deliver world-class service to Amazon's Selling Partners? The Amazon Marketplace Paid Services (AMPS) program is designed to enhance the customer and Seller experience in Selling on Amazon through Merchant Consultants (MC) working directly with Sellers to increase the value, choice, and convenience of their business. Our team will invent and innovate across technology, process and people to grow the programs, improve Selling Partner engagement and satisfaction, and enable global solutions by working directly with US, EU and China teams. AMPS is looking for a dynamic and motivated Learning & Development Training Manager to help develop and grow our Paid Services business. The Training Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, executing and delivering learning and development programs/training for new and existing MCs to develop highly knowledgeable and skilled MCs to accelerate the business growth of our Selling Partners. The ideal candidate will be comfortable influencing stakeholders and senior leaders, have strong analytical skills, a track record of using data and tools to drive business growth and be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment.

Key job responsibilities
- Deliver optimal training programs for Merchant Consultants that increase partner satisfaction and growth.
- Maintain a strong relationship with all stakeholders to ensure sufficient training plans
- Enhance existing training programs
- Manage and coordinate instructor schedules
- Manage training progress and track Merchant Consultant proficiency
- Clarify issues based on data analysis, propose and implement improvements
- Collaborate with global teams on key initiatives Learn from, optimize, and implement global best practices in Japan

Basic Qualifications


- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience, including 3+ years of sales or business operations experience in e-commerce, retail technology or software
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to successfully influence at all levels of an organization, particularly at the executive level
- Strong commitment to achieving goals, with the ability to accurately assess the situation from an enterprise-wide perspective and act flexibly while clarifying priorities
- Ability to plan, design and improve for efficiency and high quality based on best practices in other countries
- Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to use Microsoft skills in practical work, especially proficiency with Excel
- Business level English skills in speaking, writing and reading (need to participate in meetings, lead discussions and write documents in English)
- Native-level Japanese language skills

Preferred Qualifications


- MBA degree
- Experience working in a field related to learning & development or sales enablement
- L&D program or training development experience
- Project management experience
- Hands-on experience writing SQL queries
- Experience working abroad
