Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you'll focus on delivering results through accurate assembly of complex equipment and modules following detailed specifications (drawings, SOP’s, work instructions, technical books, etc). You'll work hands-on with mechanical, and pneumatic systems while maintaining strict quality standards. Our Assembly Technicians take ownership of their work, ensuring reliable construction and consistent quality in every build.
Key job responsibilities
• Assemble modules and subassemblies according to technical specifications
• Execute precise mechanical assembly operations following build-to-print documentation
• Perform quality control checks throughout the assembly process
• Document build processes and maintain detailed records
• Complete punch list items and mechanical adjustments
• Maintain organized work areas
• Provide feedback for product and process improvements
• Work effectively within team structures and priorities
A day in the life
As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you'll work on our shop floor, assembling machines and modules with precision and attention to detail. You'll take ownership of your workspace, maintaining 5S standards and ensuring all tools and components are properly managed. Your day involves hands-on assembly work, from building subassemblies to complete modules, while consistently delivering high-quality results. You'll document your work through photographs and detailed notes, participate in team meetings, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working according to the planned tasks.

Our Mechanical Assembly team are specialists responsible for the precise assembly of critical production machinery and modules.
Amazon MSP-Mechatronics creates and deploys innovative automation solutions that range from assisted to fully automated systems, while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability.
Basic Qualifications
• Fluent in Dutch, basic knowledge of English a plus
• Technical education or equivalent practical experience in mechanical assembly
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Good understanding of mechanical basic measurements
• Computer knowledge (Windows, basic MS Office)
• Able to establish and maintain a clean workspace
• Proven ability to deliver consistent, high-quality results with attention to detail
• Willing to learn and develop
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexible to work in a changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with module and subassembly operations
• Able to suggest process improvements
• Basic Electrical and Pneumatics hands-on knowledge
