AWS is leading the next paradigm shift in information technology and is looking for world-class candidates to join AWS Migration & Modernization Team as a Migration & Modernization BDM in Korea. You will play a key role in accelerating the Cloud Migration & Modernization journey for these customers. You will identify opportunities to adoption of AWS Cloud with these customers and develop repeatable strategies to modernize customer's IT infrastructure. You will communicate the modernization proposition for AWS cloud to a broad audience of IT, business & finance leaders at AWS. You will work with partners and other groups within AWS to give customers the best insights into how to run their applications on AWS cloud, in the most cost-effective manner.
Key job responsibilities
• Identify, develop, lead, and close new Migration & Modernization opportunities with MAP (Migration Acceleration Program) to accelerate AWS Migration & Modernization journey.
• Meet or exceed the assigned pre-sales revenue targets.
• Support the Account team with C-Level and customer decision-maker engagement to validate the customer drivers and leverage our proven and repeatable engagement approach (Assess, Mobilize, Migrate and Modernize) to develop and close opportunities.
• Defines, builds and deploys sales campaigns & programs to migrate and modernize on-premise, virtualized or other cloud Infrastructures to AWS environments.
• Drives sales engagement with cloud economic values for AWS Migration & Modernization.
• Collaborate with Account Managers, Solutions Architects, APN MCP (Migration Competency Partners) to craft compelling solutions & proposals as pre-sales engagement, and guide other relevant stakeholders CSM, Professional Services, SI Partners proceed post-sales engagement.
• Engages in senior level customer meetings to discuss customer’s business issues and explores how AWS Migration & Modernization can help address and resolve customer issues.
• Manage business with the senior management regarding progress for strategic initiatives.
• Demonstrate thought leadership and be able to credibly represent AWS at industry events, conferences, symposiums, etc.

Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS)
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications
- 7+ years of Server, Virtualization, or Cloud related pre-sales, sales engineering or consulting experience.
- Understand the challenges and considerations involved in Migrating and Modernizing legacy IT environments to the Cloud, including lift & shift, rehosting, refactoring, re-platforming, and rearchitecting strategies.
- Prior experience working with senior IT executives, IT vendors and cloud service providers to analyze implementation options for on-premise, virtualized and cloud Infrastructures.
- Solid understanding of various aspects of business value and TCO as applicable especially to IT environments.
- Exploration of pain points through assessment, analysis of before/after transformation, and suggestion of alternatives to legacy infrastructure services.
- Excellent visualization and documentation skills to create slides for C-level audiences.
- Fluent in English & Native in Korean.
Preferred Qualifications
- Migration & Modernization BDM role requires a combination of business acumen based on IT technical background, and a deep understanding of legacy IT as well as Cloud computing concepts.
