We are looking for the Financial Services Practice Leader of our AWS Japan Professional Services business. Are you a business leader that has led business and/or technology consulting teams through significant periods of growth? The Financial Services industry is going through a period of rapid change and pressure to digitally transform their products and services, customer experiences, and business operations. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead a team of high-performance sales professionals and consultants and support them to Think Big about the impact AWS can have on Financial Services customers.
• Engage Financial Services customers to design, position, and deliver digital transformation programs in the cloud.
• Earn trust with the C-level and build confidence in their ability to successfully embark on their digital transformation journey in the cloud.
• Advocate on behalf of your customer to influence and shape our consulting delivery and product & services capabilities.
• Define and execute effective partner strategies to maximize our ability to deliver customers’ business outcomes.
• Accountable for revenue performance, exceptional customer experiences, and practice growth.
• Attract and develop the best industry talent and build and grow high performing consultant teams with superior business and technical depth, and outstanding customer relationship skills.

Basic Qualifications


• Analytical, possessing 10 or more years of IT implementation experience
• Consulting practice leadership
• Ability to travel to client locations to deliver professional services as needed
• Outstanding customer relationship management experience and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Deep understanding of infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) cloud computing transition challenges
• Enterprise architecture successes including virtualization technologies & distributed architecture
• Familiarity with compliance & security standards across the enterprise IT landscape
• Business proficiency in Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications


• Visible IT Industry thought leadership on relevant topics related to enterprise IT infrastructure
• Vertical industry sales and delivery experience of contemporary services and solutions
• Business development experience including complex agreements w/ integrators and ISVs
• Use of AWS services in distributed environments with Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP
