Amazon Web Services (AWS) is spearheading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for world class candidates to help drive opportunities with Customers and top Partners (consulting and technology partners) for Sovereign Cloud.

As a Business Development Manager within Amazon Web Services (AWS) Sovereign Cloud, you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our
strategy to build strategic partnerships, mind share and adoption of AWS Cloud Computing Platform. This will include, but is not limited to, Data Sovereignty, Digital Sovereignty, Sovereign by Design principals – all with partners.

Based in Kingdom of Saudi, you will drive the AWS business opportunities with customers and partners by teaming with the account management teams and their management to address the business needs. This requires driving field relationships with customers, partners and the AWS team. You will possess a business background that enables you to engage at the CXO level and to easily interact with enterprise customers, sales/field reps and partners. An understanding of unique digital sovereignty needs of the KSA public sector and regulated industries is highly beneficial.

Key job responsibilities
1. Work closely with public sector and regulated industry Customers and AWS sales teams to develop targeted strategies to expand business
and drive adoption of AWS solutions that help customers meet evolving digital sovereignty requirements in the KSA market.
2. Have a holistic view of the Partner Community, a deep understanding of the partner capabilities and solutions that will delight customers.
3. Become a trusted member of the sales team to own deal execution with customers and partners
4. leverage Partner programs, and coach partners on best practices.
5. Provide regular updates and insights to leadership on market trends, competitive landscape, and customer/partner feedback.
6. Collaborate with the broader/ global AWS Sovereign Cloud team to align on
overall go-to-market strategies and share best practices.

Basic Qualifications


- 10+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- 10+ years of field sales experience combined with partner engagement experience with a software, cloud, or technology vendor or vendors, working directly with Customers, Partners and Sales teams to create business and technology outcomes for Customers
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, including Sales reps and managers, solutions architects, Partner and direct marketing, business development, and other functional teams
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate in both languages.

Preferred Qualifications


- Proven track record of successfully selling enterprise cloud solutions and managing sales cycles in the KSA market.
- Consistent achievement of key performance metrics
- Solid understanding of KSA regulatory requirements, and ability to address these needs through AWS solutions.
- Ability to create and execute strategic plans and initiatives with Customers,
- Partners, Sales, and other internal and external organizations
- Successful engagement and influence with senior executives and strong familiarity with decision-making processes within enterprise customer organization
