As an FBA Analytics Program Manager, you need to understand the different processes that drive the seller journey, and you will lead the design, implementation, and delivery of data solutions to guide the Seller Experience improvements in the MX Amazon Marketplace. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, highly analytical, comfortable diving deep, and informing data driven decisions with a strong business acumen. You must be able to handle competing priorities and manage stakeholders, setting up a roadmap for the topics you own and deliver on that roadmap. Your work will directly impact our ability to make data-driven decisions and drive the success of our business.
You are highly analytical and process driven. You rely on data, customer anecdotes, and attention to detail to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key job responsibilities
• Work closely with the team to understand business challenges and provide data analyses for better decision making.
• Learn and understand a broad range of Amazon’s data resources and know how, when, and which to use.
• Design and create the reports and metrics for tracking business and product success.
• Build self-service reporting platforms, establishing automated processes for large scale data analyzes.
• Understand and write high quality SQL queries to retrieve and analyze data.
• Extract, Transform and Load data to build new reporting solutions.
• Manage the local data infra-structure, as well as work with Global teams to assure data is consistent and accurate.
• Communicate complex technical problems in simple narratives.
• Automate manual data processes, including data quality and validation.
• Earn trust among widely differing stakeholders of different roles, responsibilities, geographical location, and culture.
A day in the life
You will be:
• Setting up and following the data roadmap
• Meeting and communicating with stakeholders
• Deep diving data
• Designing and building SQL queries, tables, KPIs, reports, dashboards and analyses to provide relevant insights.
About the team
The MX FBA Analytics team ensures that our stakeholders and leaders have the data they need to make data-driven decisions that will delight Amazon Store customers, drive Seller success, and develop a profitable business.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of SQL
- 2+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience, and experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of data visualization tools like Quicksight, Tableau or similar BI tools
