Amazon Brasil is looking for a strategic thinker and execution-focused Senior Manager who is highly motivated with leadership experience and a strong Air Operations background. Air transportation is a critical Middle-Mile solution in Amazon's logistics network, rapidly connecting Fulfillment Centers to Last Mile delivery services.
This role will be working directly with and as part of the Air BR Senior Leadership and will take ownership for the rhythm of the Air Operations. You will be a key member of the team responsible for the air carrier’s operation performance. Design innovative lanes, cost-effective transportation solutions to enhance delivery speed and efficiency. Work with international teams, gain unique e-commerce logistics insights, and drive Amazon's expansion in this dynamic market. Guide the Air Operational Control Center, an advanced mechanism that provides complete, real-time visibility of the supply chain, coordinating all logistics operations. Drive efficiency, safety, and on-time performance while managing a skilled team. Leverage data insights to enhance network performance and customer satisfaction. The role will be based in Sao Paulo – SP.
Key job responsibilities:: Drive operational excellence and performance of air carriers, Design innovative, cost-effective air transportation solutions, Oversee the Air Operational Control Center for real-time supply chain visibility, Manage and develop a high-performing team , Collaborate with international stakeholders to drive e-commerce logistics innovation, Leverage data analytics to enhance network efficiency and customer satisfaction, Ensure safety compliance and on-time performance, Contribute to strategic expansion of Amazon's air network in Brazil.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Air Operations
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- Program or project management experience
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Fluency English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field and MBA preferred
- Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons
- Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
- Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation
