Job Description
At AWS, we are looking for a Practice Manager with a successful record of leading large enterprise customers through a variety of transformative projects involving application modernization, cloud migration, IT strategy, distributed architecture, and hybrid cloud operations. This individual will be responsible for targeting our Global and Strategic Accounts and accelerating their cloud journey on AWS.

Professional Services engages in a wide variety of projects for customers and partners, providing collective experience from across the AWS customer base and are obsessed about strong success for the Customer. Our team collaborates across the entire AWS organization to bring access to product and service teams, to get the right solution delivered and drive feature innovation based upon customer needs.

Responsibilities:

- Engage customers: collaborate with enterprise sales managers to develop strong customer and partner relationships and build a growing business in a geographic territory, driving AWS adoption in key markets and accounts.
- Support selling of consulting engagements: proving the value of AWS services to support new distributed computing models.
- Coach and teach: collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
- Deliver value: lead high quality delivery of a variety of engagements with partners and enterprise customers.
- Lead great people: attract top IT architecture talent to build high performing teams of consultants with superior technical depth, and outstanding customer relationship skills.
- Be a customer advocate: Work with AWS engineering teams to convey partner and enterprise customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.

Basic Qualifications


- BA/BS degree on Computer Science or Math background preferred or equivalent experience;
- Highly technical and analytical, possessing 15 or more years of progressive technology implementation experience;
- Consulting practice leadership experience with a deep understanding of cloud native application architectures.

- Deep understanding of large-scale cloud migration methodologies and challenges;
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and Portuguese, in technical and business settings (verbal and written).

Preferred Qualifications


- Master degree on Computer Science or Business;
- International delivery experience with global F500 enterprise customers and partners;
- Use of Cloud services in distributed environments.
