Amazon seeks a Senior Finance Manager (Principal) to play a key role on the Digital and Emerging Market (DEP) Payment Finance team, primarily supporting Amazon's Mexico payment business including Co-branded Credit Card or Debit Card, Installments, Shop with Points, Instant Payments, Cash Payment Products, Cost of Payment, and other local payment products. The person will be part of a team responsible for long and short term financial planning, controllership of monthly financial reporting, developing and reporting on weekly/monthly financial and operational performance metrics, and providing analytical support for Senior Business Management.
This position will be a key risk/controllership gateway for the payments business and requires a candidate with strong communication and leadership skills. A portion of the time will be spent on ad hoc analysis to support the growing business needs. The finance team works closely with the business teams, so any candidate should be able to work well with cross functional teams. Candidates must have superior attention to detail, project and team management skills and the ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical skills are required.

- Strong PC modeling skills, including excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and SQL.
- Manage and guide two or more team members. Will have the opportunity to coach and develop the team within DEP finance.
A day in the life
Provide financial modeling, planning and analysis to support payment business team for product launch and growth, both as an individual contributor and team leader. Provide recommendations to senior leaders to make appropriate strategic investment decisions.

Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required plus at least 12+ years of professional background
- Fluent in both, English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building and leading in a complex finance team through a mixed finance skill set (commercial finance, accounting, FP&A, audit, operations)
- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
