Your mission will be…
· Design and Implement Security Measures: Design, develop and deploy security protocols to harden the security of our Snowflake accounts and its data.
· CI/CD Integration: Integrate security measures within the CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ensuring automated security checks and compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
· Security Monitoring and Auditing: Continuously monitor Snowflake environments for security vulnerabilities, conduct regular security audits and implement necessary improvements.
· Collaboration: Collaborate with the information security team to establish data security protocols and policies within Snowflake.
· Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of security policies, architecture, procedures, best practices and incident reports.
· Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and develop mitigation strategies to prevent future occurrences.
· Continuous improvement and innovation: stay updated on the latest trends in data security, Snowflake features, and best practices, and recommend enhancements and new features to improve data security posture.
We are looking for someone with…
· Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including security features and best practices.
· Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with scripting languages (e.g.: Python).
· Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitLab, is highly desirable.
· Experience in information security, with a focus on data security.
· Knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.
· Experience with cloud security (especially AWS).
· Degree in IT or in a related field/similar quantitative field/equivalent practical experience.
· Fluency in English (written and spoken).
