To further expand our reach and engagement with Japanese customers, we are seeking a talented Social Media Manager to lead our social media strategy and execution.

In this role, you will drive an "Always-on" social media strategy, focused on continuously promoting a diverse range of titles through daily social media activities. Instead of focusing on large campaigns, you will be responsible for creating and sharing content that maintains constant engagement with our audience across platforms like X, Instagram, and YouTube. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in content production within the entertainment industry and a deep passion for entertainment genres such as variety shows, drama, film, anime, music, or sports.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and execute an "Always-on" social media strategy to promote a wide range of titles and maintain consistent engagement with Prime Video’s social media accounts.
- Produce, schedule, and manage daily social media content that keeps our audience engaged and informed about new releases.
- Collaborate closely with content, marketing, and PR teams to ensure a cohesive and aligned approach to social media activities.
- Use audience insights and data analytics to optimize and continuously improve social media performance.
- Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to extend reach and engagement.
- Stay up to date with social media trends, competitors, and best practices to innovate and improve our ongoing social media activities.
- Report on the effectiveness of social media activities and adjust strategies based on performance data.

Basic Qualifications


- 3+ years of experience in the media, entertainment or advertisement industry (TV, Movie, Music, Ad agencies, Newspapers, Publishing, Internet media, Video production, etc.)
- Strong interest in at least one entertainment genre such as variety shows, drama, film, anime, music, or sports
- Proven ability to create engaging, continuous social media content
- Basic analytical skills with experience in using data
- Professional fluency in spoken and written Japanese and English

Preferred Qualifications


- Experience in multi-territory campaign management
- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
- Experience in video production
- Experience with content rights management (such as video, image, music, or other related rights)
- Familiarity with the entertainment landscape in Japan and understanding of social media trends
- Experience working with influencers to enhance social media presence
- Proficiency with social media management tools
