Do you want to lead a strategic role that shapes how we work with Selling Partners to ensure the best possible customer experience on Amazon Japan? Do you have the ability to see the big picture of Amazon’s business, going into details with data and exercising business acumen?
The vision of the Brand Excellence program is to empower brand owners with high-impact tools and programs essential for establishing their brand and driving business growth on Amazon Japan. We are seeking a dynamic leader to own the formulation and end-to-end execution of strategic policies, with a particular focus on business development to realize this vision. This role involves actively engaging with key brands and promoting the brand owner tools to bring their presence on Amazon Japan. You will be responsible for Marketing strategy and will manage performance to hit adoption targets through tracking and analyzing key metrics. Additionally, this role requires business level Japanese language skill.
Key job responsibilities
1. Developing long term marketing strategy for increasing adoption of the tools that drive selling partner experience in the Amazon Japan store
2. Develop and grow strong collaborative relationships with the key brands both internally and externally
4. Strong collaboration with the Sales & Marketing teams as well as our Category Management team driving shared business goals and deliverables for our top brands

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Business level Japanese and Strong English skills within speaking, writing and reading (Need to be able to lead discussions, and write documents in English)
- Proven quantitative skills, including ability to deep dive into data to harness insights, backup assumptions, develop business cases, and inform policy
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- MBA
- Deep understanding of selling in online stores, working backwards from the customer and selling partner experiences
