The ideal candidate should be passionate about products, have strong product development and process design skills as well as outstanding project management abilities. S/he should excel in both strategic thinking and tactical execution, as responsibilities range from creating business plans to driving product development. The candidate should also feel comfortable dealing with ambiguity and working in a very entrepreneurial environment. The Sr. Product Manager will interact with and influence multiple teams across the organization (MX and global) like Pricing, Retail businesses, Legal, Product Safety and Compliance, Marketing, Consumer Insights, Operations, etc.

Key job responsibilities
The MX Private Brands team is looking for a customer-obsessed Sr. Product Manager to help drive one of the most exciting categories at Amazon.com.mx.

In this role, you will lead the product development efforts for a set of Private Brands products and will be responsible for:
· Creating a data-driven long-term roadmap for our brands.
· Identifying new product development opportunities for our brands.
· Developing and bringing to market new products.
· Coordinating product development across international, cross-functional teams.
· Managing an existing business which is growing exponentially.
· Designing and implementing new processes to help scale our business.
· Leads, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of business functions of the assigned product category.
· Possesses a broad operations background and has the ability to “roll up their sleeves” and jump in and drive resolution.
· Is capable of taking accountability and driving planning, resolution and execution.
· Responsible for overall project schedule that enables the teams to be successful based upon the project milestones and go-live.
· Monitors and reports on the progress of all activity within the product area including milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.

Basic Qualifications


- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Bachelor's degree or certificate of completion of studies required plus at least 8+ years of professional background
- Fluent in both, English and Spanish

Preferred Qualifications


- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience owning feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
