Sr. Program Operation Manager, CN Global Selling

The Global Selling team in China is responsible for recruiting local businesses to sell on Amazon’s 14 overseas marketplaces, and supporting local Sellers’ success and growth on the Amazon. Amazon Global Selling is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Sr. Program Operations Manager to join the central PMO team. In this role, she or he will be a key member of the Asia Global Selling PMO Service Provider Network (SPN) Team, providing critical support to drive greater efficiency, productivity, consistency, scalability, and impact. The successful candidate must be able to work independently, in a hands-on way, with multiple stakeholders and business teams, on multiple programs and projects at one time, as well as provide solutions that are highly usable, scalable, and maintainable. She or He needs to be passionate about her/his work, self-motivated, detail oriented and have excellent problem-solving abilities, as well as superb communication and program/project management skills, and will be able to communicate complex analytical results, in a clear and easy-to-understand way. The candidate will also be required to deal with highly ambiguous problems, identify root cause, devise and drive towards simple solutions to complex problems.
Key job responsibilities
- Provide life cycle management to Seller Service Provider (SSP) starting from provider vetting, onboarding, upgrading, to deboarding.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders / business teams / product teams to continuously optimize the vetting criteria and processes of all service categories.
- Lead data analytics efforts of SPN, include but not limited to SSP recruitment/onboarding progress, SSP performance deep dive, service provider market landscape analysis, SPN competitor analysis etc.
- Quickly adapt to ambiguity and tasks out of comfort zone.
Basic Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in program operations, sales operations, or other relevant experience
- In-depth understanding of business processes related to Sales, Marketing, Support, and Operations
- Strong bias for action, highly organized and ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little to no guidance and tight deadlines in dynamic business environment
- Strong data analytic capability, be data driven, attention to details, and able to think structurally.
- Strong process management and improvement experience with good understanding of basic approaches e.g., PDCA or “define, measure, analyze, improve, and control” for process optimization.
- Professional communication in both Chinese and English; fluent English is a must for both written and spoken.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, computer science or relevant field of study
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-Commerce and/or in a hi-tech B2B sales organization.
- Experience in process improvement, Lean&6 sigma certified
- Project management experience with complex cross-function stakeholder management skill-set.
