Job Description
**About the Role**
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Head of Sales Operations for Japan to lead sales operations, optimize sales processes, and drive revenue growth for the Japan Commercial organisation. This role will be instrumental in improving sales efficiency, enhancing data-driven decision-making, and ensuring smooth alignment between sales, marketing, and other business functions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in sales operations, CRM systems, forecasting, and business intelligence, as well as a strong understanding of the Japan market.
\-\-\-\- What You'll Do ----
1. Develop and execute sales operations strategies that drive efficiency, productivity, and scalability across Japan.
2. Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
3. Establish and refine key sales processes, including lead management, opportunity tracking, and customer engagement frameworks.
4. Drive CRM adoption and ensure data accuracy and integrity within the sales funnel.
5. Collaborate closely with sales leadership and Japan GM to set KPIs, measure performance, and optimize territory planning.Work cross-functionally with finance, marketing, and customer success teams to align strategies and maximize revenue.
6. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements to streamline sales execution.
7. Provide leadership and coaching to the sales operations team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
8. Monitor competitive landscape and market trends to inform sales strategies and positioning.
\-\-\-\- What You'll Need ----
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred).
2. 7+ years of experience in sales operations, revenue operations, or a related field, preferably within the Japan or APAC region.
3. Strong knowledge of CRM platforms (Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.

1. Proven track record of driving process improvements and increasing sales productivity.
2. Experience in working within multinational organizations and managing cross-functional teams.
3. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
4. Fluency in Japanese and English preferred.
