Prime Video is seeking a maternity cover Vendor Manager with a blend of business and marketing skills to join our team and grow the Prime Video Store business in Europe. You will build strong relationships with your portfolio of studios and be responsible for the commercial performance of the accounts. You will also be responsible for helping to drive our growth initiatives, to increase our content selection, to execute our promotions and to run operations for Prime Video’s transactional business. You will work cross functionally with Marketing, Operations, Legal, Finance and Pricing & Costing.

Key job responsibilities
• Studio management: Build and manage relationships with a portfolio of international and local film studios. Drive key studio inputs for daily operational business and commercial performance, handle operational studio requests and conduct regular business reviews and planning.
• Promotions: Deliver and support promotions that excite and engage our customers both for existing programs like Prime Day, and title or studio-tailored or country-specific initiatives. Conduct dive deep analyses on promotions results and recommend scaling and optimization opportunities.
• Operations: Improve customer experience by monitoring title availability, promotional offers or prices. Seek out ways to automate and simplify manual processes in order to improve productivity.
• Content acquisition management: Drive content selection goals by managing negotiations regarding content selection, financial analysis, forecasting, and technical requirements to ensure to have the most compelling content for Amazon customers.
Prepare and lead commercial agreement negotiations with your Studios
• Business development: Identify opportunities based on deep data analysis and provide recommendations to improve performance. Support and execute initiatives to drive customer engagement, revenue growth and profitability improvements.

Basic Qualifications



• Professional experience in Vendor Management, Content Acquisition Management, Marketing, Sales or Management Consulting
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing within teams and cross-functionally
• Fluent in German and English

Preferred Qualifications


• Professional experience ideally in a large content group (e.g. film studio), acquirer of content (e.g. Pay TV) or related industry
• Experience in establishing commercial relationships and proven ability to negotiate content license or business development agreements
• Strong problem solving, analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
• High proficiency in Excel
