You are:

An analytical person who has the ability to understand business needs and leverage your technical skills to turn them into business insights and scalable processes. The work:

The Center of Excellence (COE) enables Sales Excellence to deliver best-in-class service offerings to Accenture leaders, practitioners, and sales teams.

As a member of the COE Analytics team, you will help manage the release cycle, data engineering, and automation across a diverse set of data sources and find new and creative ways to bring insights to life while adapting to business needs.

You will:

  • Lead projects related to data engineering and analytics, leveraging cross-functional resources from within the COE to meet project goals.   
  • Individually contribute code to support your projects.
  • Identify and drive creative methods to operationalize data classification objectives.
  • Set and drive standards for data engineering workflow and processes.
  • Structure data for use in analytics applications.
  • Setup test protocols to ensure the output created meets business users’ needs.
  • Work with our partners to deliver insights via various consumption mediums, such as visualization tools, slide decks, and Gen AI/LLM. 


Qualifications:

Here’s what you need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • At least five years of analytics or software engineering experience, which includes: 
    • Creating or managing web-based software engineering projects with a diverse dataset.
    • Managing data science and analytics projects.
    • Advanced SQL and relational databases.     
    • Advanced Python, creating production code in an object-oriented programming framework.
    • Cloud technology.
    • Building of data flow components and processing systems to extract, transform, load (ETL), and integrate data from various sources eitheir scripting or through visual ETL tools such as Alteryx.
  • Business acumen, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize own workload and manage downstream stakeholders and resources.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate solutions to senior leadership, gain alignment, and drive progress.
  • Mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving aptitude.

 Extra Credits if you have:

  • A Master’s degree in a technical field.
  • Understanding of Accenture sales process and systems.
  • Familiarity with recent Gen AI/ LLM concepts and methods to build into data sourcing or capture mechanisms.
  • Worked directly with customers to understand their business needs.
  • Experience with Python database communications, e.g., SQLAlchemy. 
  • Used development tools, e.g., Git, Google Composer, and Azure DevOps, and visualization tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI.
  • Leveraged quality assurance processes, such as unit and end-to-end testing.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance.
  • Are comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to navigate unknowns to create a clear workplan.
  • Worked in an environment where you've had to balance building prototypes (<100 users) versus models at scale (>10,000 users).
