The Artist Relations at Amazon Music CO will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnership, and commercial initiatives with leading artists, talent, and industry stakeholders in the Colombian music scene. This role will involve working closely with internal Amazon teams to ideate, pitch, and launch high-impact collaborations that drive fan engagement and revenue generating opportunities.
Key job responsibilities
* Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with leading Colombian artists, talent, and industry players to drive fan engagement and monetization
* Develop innovative, revenue-generating commercial initiatives (e.g., sponsorships, branded content, live events) that leverage Amazon's assets and the Colombian music landscape
* Pitch and present partnership and commercial proposals to senior Amazon stakeholders, securing buy-in and resource allocation
* Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g., Marketing, Alexa, Prime Video, Amazon Ads) to ensure seamless execution and optimization of partnership initiatives
* Continuously monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities for strategic partnerships and commercial initiatives
* Serve as a subject matter expert on the Colombian music industry, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership
* Mentor and guide junior members of the team, sharing best practices and fostering a culture of innovation
* Demonstrate strong project management skills to proactively identify and mitigate risks, manage timelines, and drive timely decision-making to ensure successful project delivery
* Communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, tailoring messaging to diverse stakeholder groups
Basic Qualifications
*Proven experience in the Colombian music and entertainment industries, with a deep understanding of key artists, genres, trends, and commercial opportunities
* Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and commercial deals in the music/entertainment industry
* Experience in developing and executing innovative, revenue-generating initiatives that leverage artist/talent relationships
* Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish, with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Strong project management skills, including experience in setting goals, managing timelines, and driving cross-functional collaboration
* Data-driven, analytical approach to decision-making, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
* Experience working in a creative, content-driven environment (e.g., creative/media agency, content brand) is a plus
* Passion for the music industry and a keen understanding of cultural and creative trends
