Amazon Marketplace is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to acquire and manage strategic key accounts. As a Business Development Manager you will develop a sales pipeline mix of high value and transactional accounts, recruit and launch small, medium and established businesses to sell their products on www.amazon.com.mx and manage the portfolio to grow their sales exponentially.

Specifically, you will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within the executive teams of prospective accounts, identify decision takers, along with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to create and present compelling Amazon solutions that meet and exceed customer requirements. Post acquisition, you will build success cases together with those accounts by providing business insights, training and identifying business opportunities and executing a growth strategy.

Core Responsibilities:
· Identify, qualify, prospect, acquire and grow seller commitment to Selling on Amazon
· Implement and track metrics for recording the success and quality of the sellers in your category. Use these metrics to guide your performance and uncover hidden areas of opportunity.
· Develop a clear understanding of the Selling on Amazon products along with the features and functionalities.
· Develop a thorough understanding of the e-commerce industry and competitive environment including knowledge of competitive product offerings
· Engage with merchants to understand their needs and gauge fit with the Amazon Services product set.
· Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the Selling on Amazon product.
· Manage numerous opportunities concurrently and strategically.
· Analyze customer data and make recommendations in order to maximize the potential of the assigned category. Successfully execute the recommended strategy together with your Selling Partners
· Prepare and deliver business reviews regarding progress and state of health for the respective categories.
· Meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets and operational metrics.

Key job responsibilities
Specifically, you will be responsible for
Identify, prospect and recruit high-potential merchants
Effectively prioritize and manage a pipeline of merchants to consistently meet/exceed quarterly targets
Identifying and building relationships with key influences and decision-makers within the executive teams of prospective accounts,
Be a business partner for new merchants providing them with data-driven insights and advice to optimize their success on Amazon
Post acquisition, you will build success cases together with those accounts by providing business insights, training and identifying business opportunities and executing a growth strategy.
Work closely with new merchants, educating them about Amazon’s high standards of Delivery and Customer Experience
Enable merchants to learn and master Amazon's tools and systems to become self-sufficient in managing their catalog, inventory and performance efficiently to required standards
Learn and understand the specificity of your categories to spot trends, seasonal items and competitive pricing to best tailor your pitch and advice to merchants
Track business development results, analyze, interpret reports and information for your portfolio
Prioritize your time optimally to achieve your targets in a KPI-driven environment.

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree
- Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience with pipeline management skills to include utilization of Salesforce or other CRM tools
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
- 2+ years of sales, marketing, consulting, engineering or digital advertising and/or client facing roles experience (Sales skills)

Preferred Qualifications


- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Experience in procurement, negotiation, sales, consulting, supply chain, product/project management, or marketing
