Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10 years of consulting or customer-facing experience focused on delivering cloud solutions.

  • Experience managing partners (e.g. channel partners, systems integrators, third-party developers) to deliver solutions.

  • Experience in one or more disciplines: machine learning, recommendation systems, natural language processing, computer vision, pattern recognition, or artificial intelligence.

  • Experience with people management, including managing engineers or architects through technical project delivery.

  • Ability to communicate in English, Portuguese and Spanish fluently to support client relationship management in this region.


Preferred qualifications:


  • MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience programming in one or more languages (e.g. Java, Python, Go, or C++).

  • Experience leading IT implementations, IT support, deployments, and business development activities.

  • Experience implementing, migrating or supporting live AI environments on a public cloud with core production strategies.

  • Experience in systems design, architecting and explaining ML Operations platforms.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage across multiple time sensitive initiatives.

As a Cloud AI Manager, you will lead a technical team that is an integral part of the broader Professional Services organization. You will bring your demonstrated leadership acumen to a team responsible for delivering solutions that address business needs leveraging Google Cloud Platform Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) products.

In this role, you will work with internal teams across Sales, Engineering, and Account Management, and our external customers, to define, align, and execute specialized services aiming to transform customers' business via implementations through migration and integration to the best of Google's products. You will navigate ambiguity, have experience working with AI/ML on cloud technologies, and demonstrate technical depth.

Responsibilities


  • Foster a positive and high-performing team culture, through hiring, developing, and retain a team of Cloud Consultants and Cloud Engineers with clear objectives, performance management, and career coaching.

  • Provide deep domain expertise in AI, serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and partners, resolving deployment obstacles, and deploying AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

  • Work with customer technical leads, client executives, and external partners to manage and deliver successful cloud AI solutions through in-depth search discussions, strategic presentations/recommendations, and implementation in Google Cloud environments.

  • Drive the development of best practices and assets based on learnings from customer engagements to support initiatives to scale through partners and accelerate cloud adoption.

  • Influence and contribute to Google Cloud's long-term product and services strategy.
