We are looking for a Financial Performance Manager (FPM) to be hired in Milan, being the key strategic partner to business leadership, driving financial excellence and business performance through data-driven decision making. This role bridges financial analytics with operational insights to optimize company performance and profitability.

Your Challenge

As a Financial Project Manager you will be responsible for analyzing, monitoring, reporting and optimizing the organization's financial performance through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations. Your main activities will be to:

  • Drive monthly closing activities and reporting to local Management, Region and Headquarters.
  • Lead the budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, including variance analysis.
  • Prepare stakeholder-oriented reporting packages to support decision making.
  • Lead the Finance & Controlling Function into the digital age by e.g. implementing robotic operational improvements and automation, data analytics, Dashboards and by optimization of the existing local/ regional reporting tools.
  • Identify cost optimization opportunities
  • Drive performance review process, analyzing actuals.
  • Cost Center Controlling for Support Functions
  • Develop and maintain financial models to track KPIs and business metric.
  • Support on audit reviews

To be a perfect fit for this role, you have:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in financial performance management functions
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and reporting principle.
  • Proven experience in use of SAP, nice to have experience in Business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Have a proficient knowledge in English
  • Strong analytical, planning skills, Critical thinking and ability to proactively propose improvement actions
  • Leadership and team collaboration; communication and presentation skills
  • Passion to never-stop growing
