Head of Seller Marketing, Amazon Fashion Marketplace
Job Description
This role will lead a team of Marketing Managers to drive business outcomes for thousands of Amazon Japan’s Fashion Sellers. You and your team will be responsible from everything from joint marketing planning with enterprise-level sellers down to running education campaigns helping SMBs grow their business on Amazon. This role requires long-term campaign planning, strategy building and the ability to dive deep into business opportunities while also being able to adapt priorities in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, can draw out the most important insights from data, is inventive in the face of ambiguous problems and capable of motivating a team to deliver results. A background in B2B marketing, partnership marketing or experience in retail fashion will help you hit the ground running.
Key job responsibilities
•Develop and communicate marketing strategy to support the business growth of a diverse range of sellers.
•Communicate with cross-functional teams, external sellers (SMB to enterprise executives) and leadership stakeholders on strategy, performance and learnings.
•Manage a diverse team of Marketing Managers to deliver results amongst a wide range of projects
• Maintain a high bar of communication to our customers and sellers; ensuring messaging is relevant, timely and engaging.
• Conduct deep dive analysis to understand campaign performance, business impact metrics and uncover customer insight.
• Engage with domestic and international teams to gather and deploy new opportunities to grow seller’s business’, new marketing technology and methods of analysis.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and leadership stakeholders on strategy, performance and learnings.
• Seek out ways of scaling impact across larger cohorts of sellers, identifying ways to automate or standardize successful initiatives

The Amazon Marketplace is a critical part of the Amazon consumer business which offers millions of sellers the opportunity to build and grow their business using Amazon’s reach and expertise. Sellers are our customers and we help them to sell their products to hundreds of millions of customers world-wide. We are looking for a talented marketer to drive our Seller programs.
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones and languages
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Chinese at a business level or above
