Marketing Manager, Amazon Fresh
Job Description
We are seeking an exceptionally motivated and talented Marketing Manager to join the APAC Amazon Fresh marketing team for JP Amazon Fresh. Our team develops data-driven and creative marketing solutions to reach relevant Amazon Fresh customers and deliver excellent customer experience. In this role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing merchandising campaigns to target Fresh customers and guide them through the sales funnel. You must possess strong customer focus and analytical skills. You will help execute and deliver detailed plans, manage timelines, and communicate impact to leadership. Team members need to be entrepreneurial, comfortable wearing multiple hats, and able to thrive in ambiguous situations.
The ideal candidate will have e-commerce and FMCG marketing experience, with strong customer-centric intuition. You should have experience managing merchandising, customer lifecycle programs, and A/B testing. You must be able to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced business environment while operating across multiple teams and organizational levels. High judgment, customer obsession, ability to influence others, and analytical talent are essential for success in this role.
Key job responsibilities
The Marketing Manager will be focused on:
- Crafting and implementing annual site merchandising strategies, working closely with vendor managers and instock managers while maximizing impact through online and offline marketing channels.
- Have a thorough understanding of customer metrics. Driving key performance metrics including: store conversion, CTR, campaign sales, and selection/deal discoverability goals.
- Creating high-quality design assets using Canva or Photoshop
- Create and drive roadmap for customer experience including usability studies, surveys and A/B tests.
- Analyze campaign performance metrics, reporting on data and recommending areas for improvement.
- Work with product team to develop and improve CX and personalization.

Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Fluent Japanese
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven expertise in design, with advanced proficiency in Canva and Photoshop
- Proficiency in developing project timelines, milestones, and KPIs
- Demonstrated skill in managing multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
- Business Level English
