Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Manager to play a critical role in Brazil, as a finance partner for the Prime & Marketing team. The role will support multiple senior marketing business leaders, with broad scope and autonomy. This strategic role will drive financial planning, analysis, and decision-making for Amazon's marketing investments and Prime business in Brazil. The right individual will have exceptional finance skills, strong understanding of Finance & Accounting principles, solid analytical skills, firm business judgment capable of driving an organization to the right results, and an ability to influence and earn trust with senior leaders.


Key job responsibilities
Create, improve, and maintain financial metrics, reports and scorecards used for consolidation reports. Measure marketing programs on P&L in a short and long term
Establish guardrails in Marketing and Prime's team willingness to invest in acquiring or retaining customers
Develop relationships with business teams, implement new processes and drive continuous improvement
Annual Plans, Forecasts, Month End Close and Variance Analysis

Basic Qualifications


- 6+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 6+ years of multiple finance and accounting roles experience
- 6+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
- 6+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 6+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience
- 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 6+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Advanced English

Preferred Qualifications


- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results
