Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience as a Technical Business Engineer in cloud computing environment.
- Experience in data and information management related to Big Data or Streaming Data Pipeline.
- Experience engaging with, and presenting to, technical stakeholders and executive leaders.
- Ability to communicate in Japanese and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 4 years of experience as a data engineer, database architect, or database administrator conducting data platform requirements analysis and stakeholder management.
- Experience in architecting and developing software or infrastructure for distributed systems.
- Experience in discussing the value of machine learning with customers.
- Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
About the Job
In this role, you will work with Partner Development Managers and Partner Engineers to grow and support the Google Cloud Data and Analytics partner ecosystem. You will understand the technical solutions and capabilities of partners and are in the best position to recommend the right partner to our customers. You will lead all the data and analytics efforts to enable partners and with technical knowledge in data and analytics technologies and solutions. You will contribute to customer adoption of Google Cloud by supporting partners as they illustrate how Google Cloud data and analytics services can help customers innovate, bring their services to market faster, differentiate against the participants, and create new business growth streams. You will help partners succeed in the proof of concept, data migration, application migration and deployment phase, ensuring they have full access to Google Cloud’s artifacts, tools, templates, and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Recommend integration strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms, and application infrastructure required to implement a complete solution on Google Cloud.
- Provide enterprise data analytics expertise to support the technical relationship with Google’s partners, including product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and partner with product management to prioritize solutions impacting customer adoption to Google Cloud.
- Support partners in prototyping, demonstrating, and product integrations in customer environments, and identifying/mitigating customer technical objections.
- Work with Partner Managers and Partner Engineers to identify and recruit partners in the market that can deliver solutions to our customers.
- Work with the team to identify and qualify partnership opportunities.
