We are looking for a customer obsession, data-driven, and results-oriented operation program manager to help drive our selection growth in Kindle Japan. In this role, you will work on digital selection growth and work with publishers to make more Japanese language selection available on Kindle, and ultimately to delight Kindle customers. This includes monitoring key selection related metrics, identifying inventive new solutions, executing programs to enable publishers in Japan to provide their books quickly and easily, and working with cross-functional teams both locally and around the world to achieve selection growth.

We are currently looking for an Operation Program Manager within JP Books Selection team. This role is responsible for managing operation processes around Kindle books release, managing relationships with publishers, deep dive into blockers and identify growth opportunities, work with internal technical and business stakeholders including product managers, vendor managers and customer support teams to achieve program objectives.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain and improve business relationships with publishers, track digital selection performance and influence publishers for improvement.
- Run programs to support publishers release digital books smoothly, assess program performance against goals and recommend program’s business continue plan for strategic business decisions.
- Hearing pain points from publishers in digital book release and drive improvement with cross-function stakeholders.
- Analysis program metrics and reporting for data-driven insights, define metrics with the Business Intelligence team when necessary.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in program or process definition, ideally having taken a product or process design from concept to execution.
- 2+ years of experience managing external vendor/client relationships.
- Experience in data analysis, identify continue improvement opportunities from hard data and metrics, and present data driven plans to influence business decisions
- Experience in working with stakeholders from cross-functional teams.
- Fluent Japanese and Business level English
- BA/BS Degree required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in e-commerce product listing & catalog, digital media integration, and retailing;
- Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of analytics & statistical tools such as SAS, PowerBI, SQL & ETL DW concepts
