Program Manager, Marketplace
Job Description
Amazon is seeking a motivated candidate to develop innovative solutions and manage our transportation network compounded by 3P carriers. As a Transportation Specialist, you will have to:
- Manage, analyze and improve performance metrics;
- Receive sales forecast and transportation projects to understand any adjustments in first mile chain;
- Support 3P operations daily, identify improvement opportunities, and manage business improvements;
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand upstream and downstream process or technology dependencies critical to successful execution of program goals;
- Continuously seek to improve processes and unblock bottlenecks.
- Maintain and update all relevant process documentation and communicate to ensure compliance;
- Communication with external customers (Carriers, Vendors/Suppliers) and internal customers;
- Generate and analyze reports;
- Work closely with 3P to solve daily operational issues;
- Define network support as Transit Times, Rate Cards, Operational Cost and Performance;
- Supporting the team in documents written to ensure that all transportation flows are clear;
- Lead and/or Support the team in expansion projects for programs related to Speed and Process Improvement;

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle, including design, development, test, build, deployment processes and timelines
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Program or project management experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- • Advanced data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data in order to make data-backed business decisions;
- • Experience in Python.
