We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Manager to lead a high-performing team of recruiters dedicated to hiring top talent for our Worldwide Amazon Stores Business Units in Japan. This role will work closely with business partners, and will shape how we think about Talent Acquisition within the country.

As the Recruiting Manager, you'll be a strategic partner to business leaders, providing talent insights, driving innovative sourcing strategies, and delivering a world-class candidate experience. You'll build and develop a team with talent advisory minded recruiting professionals, setting performance goals, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key job responsibilities
- Build distinct hiring strategies based on demand and capacity to support hiring for multiple organizations to meet increasing hiring needs across Japan.
- Drive sourcing capability across the team to proactively build talent pools, while leveraging all available talent channels to expedite delivery.
- Develop and manage recruiting reports, dashboards, and metrics. Establish and track metrics to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the recruiting team, hiring managers and interviewers.
- Partner with key stakeholders (Business Leaders, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers) to anticipate and plan for future needs, market trends and set an inspirational direction for the team.
- Build engage, manage and develop a team of high-performing team in an extremely fast-paced and ambiguous environment.
- Set team performance goals and metrics, timelines and a formal tracking process to measure and manage progress.
- Lead and participate in cross-business projects and initiatives related to recruiting.

Basic Qualifications


- Bachelors Degree
-Several years of recruitment in a Corporate in-house or agency environment, ideally both.
- Experience managing and coaching a recruiting team of direct or indirect reports.
-Bilingual in English and Japanese is ideal, open to English-only

- Strong verbal and written communication
