The work:
The Center of Excellence (COE) enables Sales Excellence to deliver best-in-class Sales Excellence offerings to Accenture leaders, practitioners, and sales teams.
As a member of the COE Analytics team, you will manage the data science and analytics that automate the delivery of business insights to our internal sales team customers.
You will:
- Lead projects related to data science and analytics, leveraging cross-functional resources from within the COE to meet project goals.
- Individually contribute code to support your projects.
- Structure data for use in analytics applications.
- Ensure the output created by projects you lead meet business users’ needs.
- Work with our partners to deliver insights via various mediums, such as visualization tools, slide decks, and Gen AI/LLM.
Qualifications:
Here’s what you need:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- At least 10 years of experience, which includes:
- Managing data science and analytics projects.
- Advanced SQL and relational databases.
- Advanced Python, creating production code in an object-oriented programming framework.
- Cloud technology.
- Building of data flow components and processing systems to extract, transform, load, and integrate data from various sources.
- Business acumen, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize own workload and manage downstream stakeholders and resources.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate solutions to senior leadership, gain alignment, and drive progress.
- Mathematics, statistics, and problem-solving aptitude.
Extra credit if you have:
- A master’s degree in a technical field.
- Understanding of Accenture sales process and systems.
- Built training data that has improved the usefulness of a Gen AI/LLM model.
- Worked directly with customers to understand their business needs.
- Experience with Python database communications, e.g., SQLAlchemy.
- Used development tools, e.g., Git, Google Composer, and Azure DevOps, and visualization tools, e.g., Power BI.
- Leveraged quality assurance processes, such as unit and end-to-end testing.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and guidance.
- Are comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to navigate unknowns to create a clear workplan.
- Worked in an environment where you've had to balance building prototypes versus models at scale.
