Amazon Global Logistics in China is a team of highly experienced logistics professionals, product & program manager and carrier specialists actively participating in Amazon's international expansion goals. We are seeking some highly motivated individuals who are interested in providing best-in-class logistics service to customers as global logistics operation specialist.
The main purpose and responsibilities is to act as control tower in insisting on the highest standards of Amazon quality: Responsible for end to end global logistics operation process, building and implementing operational procedures in the daily workflow, improving operation efficiency and service quality, handling exceptions during the daily operations.

Key job responsibilities:
As an Export Operations Specialist,
• You'll manage daily export processes in collaboration with Logistics Service Providers and Ocean/Air Carriers, while proactively addressing operational exceptions for seamless origin operations.
• You'll ensure strict compliance with Chinese Import/Export regulations throughout all operations.
• You'll supervise the complete Ocean/Air freight cycle, including origin pickup, export documentation, warehouse operations, customs clearance, and delivery tracking.
• You'll Support Amazon sellers as their main point of contact for Ocean/Air shipments, solve complex logistics challenges and handle escalations and recommend optimal shipping solutions based on seller needs and compliance requirements.
• You'll work with global program and product teams to enable global product and program at origin.

• You'll optimize procedures to improve operational efficiency and service quality.





Basic Qualifications


- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of international Ocean/Air freight operations experience.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and verbal).
- Proven track record at global or top-tier Chinese freight forwarders.
- Experience in customer service or operations roles in cross-border logistics.
- Deep understanding of international Ocean/Air freight operations.
- Strong ownership mindset and bias for action.

Preferred Qualifications


- 1+ years of program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or equivalent experience
- Experience with SQL
- Demonstrated experience with data analysis and problem-solving
- Track record of using metrics to drive operational improvements
- Ability to dive deep into data to identify root causes and trends
