Senior Brand Specialist Job Description
Amazon continues to provide shopping experiences that exceed customer expectations. To realize this vision, we are focusing on expanding "Amazon Vendor Services (AVS)," a group of strategic services that support the growth of vendor companies, our business partners, and maximize customer satisfaction.

AVS plays a central role in seamlessly connecting product procurement, sales, and logistics. By providing specialized support across all aspects of retail operations, including strengthening product lineups, optimizing inventory, and marketing initiatives, AVS offers solutions that balance the dramatic growth of vendor companies with maximizing customer satisfaction. At the core of AVS is the Brand Specialist (BS).
The BS is an expert in manufacturing, retail, and e-commerce industries, serving as an insightful and creative practical consultant and partner to vendor companies. BSs are expected to always have the latest knowledge, identify issues through data-based analysis, discover growth opportunities, and present specific solutions. Additionally, BSs are expected to work closely with category teams to contribute to the advancement and innovation of AVS services themselves. Therefore, BSs must demonstrate strong leadership that can flexibly adapt to changes in the times, balance the interests of diverse stakeholders, and consistently deliver solid results.

Main responsibilities include:
• Building long-term trusted relationships with assigned vendors and accurately understanding their needs
• Identifying vendor challenges, developing and promoting strategies that have a clear impact on business
• Providing optimal solutions to unique problems faced by vendors
• Constantly monitoring various business metrics to contribute to reducing opportunity loss and increasing service value
• Collaborating with the AVS central team to contribute to continuous improvement of AVS services
• Collaborating with Organization team to contribute to program/project improvements in Product Family
• Contributing to the improvement of team capabilities as a senior

The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of retail business models and possesses outstanding knowledge in related areas such as strategy development, marketing, and digital advertising. In addition, strong planning and presentation skills are necessary to engage various stakeholders and lead consensus-building persuasively. Above all, practical leadership that can flexibly respond to rapidly changing business environments is crucial. The ability to accurately grasp stakeholder requirements and consistently deliver results is essential.

BSs with these high capabilities will have excellent opportunities to play active roles at the forefront of Amazon. While honing consulting skills, they can lead the cutting edge of the retail industry and be involved in creating new businesses and innovations. Through practice, they can enhance skills in strategy development, data analysis, and project execution, with the potential to expand their roles into management in the future.
