Smart Infrastructure Building Services is undergoing a substantial transformation, focusing on digitalization, increased standardization, and a clear distinction between global core, local fit, and centrally managed service operations. 

In the context of a B2B Customer Portal, the Business Analyst plays a crucial role in bridging business needs with technical implementation. By analyzing end-to-end processes, gathering requirements from stakeholders, and ensuring alignment with customer needs, the BA contributes to building solutions that enhance usability, efficiency, and business value



Your mission will be
  

Requirements Gathering and Change Management: 
  • Prepare and conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather business requirements; 
  • Provide suitable methods identifying and documenting gaps between current vs desired state (incl. Future State Mapping, Process Documentation and Mapping, SWOT); 
  • Approach project needs from a user and customer centric position (independent of technology desire);  
  • Manage changes to project scope and ensure that all stakeholders are informed of any updates; 
  • Analyze business processes and data to identify areas for improvement based on newly available technology. 

Documentation and Solution Design: 

  • Analyze identified gaps and requirements providing a future oriented transformation recommendation; 
  • Create Epic-level requirement documentation as guidance for impacted teams to derive covered functionality, change impact and gaps (e.g. as features); 
  • Guide solution design by strongly collaborating with enterprise and data architects and other IT and business teams to design solutions that meet business needs; 
  • Assist in early preparation of the testing phase to ensure that the solutions meet the business requirements (incl. ideate how to engage with future users as early as possible). 

Stakeholder Communication: 

  • Act as a critical member of the transformation team, bringing all impacted stakeholders closer together and align way forward; 
  • Collaborate with various roles in the organization, including transformation management, process owners, enterprise and data architecture, product management and IT teams; 
  • Provide fact-based communication and documentation.

We are looking for someone with
 
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field; 
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related role; 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and document complex business processes. Strong experience with related methodologies. Ability to host remote, hybrid and onsite workshops; 
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and the development team; 
  • Great oral and written skills in English; 
  • Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure accuracy and completeness of requirements; 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis and related tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Confluence, Jira Software), process modelling tools and methodologies (BPMN) and familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., SAFe, Agile, Scrum); 
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
