**Senior Product Manager - Tax & Compliance (Location: Sofia, Bulgaria - Remote)**
Uber’s Tax & Compliance Product Team is looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to drive strategy, execution, and innovation within our Tax Invoices product. This role will focus on expanding the capabilities of our Tax and Compliance platform, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering a seamless experience for partners, merchants, riders, and eaters worldwide.
As a Senior PM, you will define the vision and roadmap, lead cross-functional teams, and make critical product decisions that impact Uber’s global tax compliance landscape. ### **About the Team**
The Tax & Compliance Product Team is responsible for tax and compliance-related infrastructure, services, and operations across Uber’s business lines within the FinTech organization. We collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to support both company-wide and user-facing needs. Our work includes:
- Building the infrastructure for issuing tax invoices, receipts, and financial documents.
- Managing tax calculations for trips and deliveries.
- Ensuring compliance with evolving government regulations to support partners in meeting local tax laws.
### **What You’ll Do**
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping Uber’s tax compliance solutions by:
- Leading the execution of the product roadmap and multi-year initiatives.
- Partnering with Tax, Legal, and Compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into scalable product features.
- Driving strategy for tax invoice product development and regulatory adaptation.
- Conducting stakeholder interviews and demos to gather insights and refine designs.
- Implementing and tracking key product performance metrics.
- Supporting engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Providing quality assurance and content support for partner messaging and compliance campaigns.
- Training internal teams to enhance understanding of tax compliance systems and processes.
### **Who You’ll Work With**
You’ll collaborate with engineering, design, product operations, and data teams to build and launch new products. Additionally, you’ll interact with key stakeholders across Uber and the broader FinTech organization, including Tax, Compliance, Payments, Legal, Operations, and CRM teams.

- 7+ years of experience in product management or product ownership.
- Strong background in FinTech, tax compliance, or financial systems.
- Proven track record of owning product development from inception to production launch.
- Strong analytical skills and technical understanding of software development.
- Experience managing large-scale, global projects with agile methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Deep understanding of user experience and product strategy.
- Ability to track, document, and execute on complex requirements.
- Fluency in English and Bulgarian.
