We are looking for or a highly-motivated, innovative and results-oriented Senior Manager of Programming to join the team and help grow our business in Brazil. The role will focus on leading integrated programming strategy, working in partnership with different stakeholders to categorize, schedule and program key content in Brazil, taking in consideration local customer’s needs, available content, international launches, advertising campaigns plan, and positioning of our service. S/he will focus on a long-term strategy while contributing for Local originals and regional acquisition strategy. S/he must execute innovative and effective programming strategies considering the possible different behavior based on device, calendar events, and customer segmentation. S/he will lead content consumption research and insights, and general market analysis to make decisions.

The successful candidate is a self-starter who is able to prioritize and deliver on deadlines with minimal supervision, has the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others and drive results. S/he should be able to think and act strategically, develop structured plans and be willing to execute hands on with a start-up type of mentality. S/he will be data-driven with a proven track record in content programming skills, either linear or non-linear. S/he should thrive in a culture of decisions based on analytics, be comfortable diving deep into the data, yet able to step-back and communicate both the strategic and immediate implications on priorities. This person must have strong written and verbal communications skills in both Portuguese and English, as well as the ability to influence others and strong cross-functional leadership. The role will have no direct reports but will need to engage and drive things across a broad set of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a comprehensive content programming strategy to acquire and engage customers with Prime Video focused on content launch but not only
- Set medium and long-term goals and KPIs for content performance, and designs strategies through which to achieve them while working together with brand managers to maximize key content individual performance implementing measurement plans
- Develop audience testing and research for better planning
- Partner with a wide-range of internal teams (from Marketing to Tech teams) to identify and prioritize needs for the Exclusive and Original shows and films
- Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and meet committed delivery timelines.
- Document and present strategies and periodic updates to internal and audiences, including stakeholder’s management and progress reporting.

Basic Qualifications


- 7+ years of relevant senior level experience in content programming, preferably with content subscription services and/or linear open or Pay TV.
- Fluent written and spoken Portuguese and English.
- Bachelor Degree.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to influence others.
- Willingness to work hard and roll up sleeves to get work done, even when at times it is outside the scope of the job.

Preferred Qualifications


- MBA
- 7+ years relevant business experience
- Experience in Content Programming on the Media and TV industry strongly preferred
- Effective analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure planning and programming strategies
- Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive).
- A deep understanding of subscription and SVOD products and interactive entertainment
