Our project is a new shopping experience that provides customers a place to discover even more affordable Fashion, Home, Lifestyle, Electronics, and other products at ultra-low prices. This exciting, product discovery-driven CX is full of products across categories at low prices, with fulfillment in one to two weeks. The store's intuitive browse-based UX and thumb-stopping discounts encourage exploration, basket building, and repeat purchases. It is still early days and the perfect time to join a fast-moving team at the ground level.
We are looking for a data-driven Senior Marketing Manager with strong customer focus, analytical skills, and an entrepreneurial spirit to join the marketing team. This key strategic role build our go to market strategy and execution to drive traffic and new customers to amazon stores. The ideal candidate is able to navigate ambiguity on a daily basis, build and execute a go to market strategy that delivers traffic at scale, and action data driven insights in real-time as we learn more about our customers. This role requires the ability to build strong working relationships both across the team (Product, Tech, Finance, Legal) and across key Traffic & Events stakeholders (EU XCM, NavX). The right candidate is able to force multiply at scale with partner teams.
Key job responsibilities
1. Build the new Traffic strategy and bring it to life working with relevant partner teams
2. Creating EU-specific promotional messages and content to ensure relevance and resonance with local markets and (deal) events.
3. Set up testing and experimentation to gain data driven insights to maximize Traffic from onsite, off Amazon marketing and ingresses
4. Lead the creation of the specific Sales & Deals events and execute across functions
5. Collaborate and build trust across critical partner teams to secure and implement strategic placements across Amazon Core
6. Think Big to deliver net new traffic sources working across Product, Tech, and Marketing
7. Coordinate with US counterparts to stay aligned on WW marketing strategy
The position can be based in any of the following EU locations: London, Luxembourg, Munich, Berlin, Milan, Madrid, Paris.
Basic Qualifications
• Relevant professional experience in marketing, communications, audience strategy and media
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous work experience in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated experience of having high adaptability
• Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
• Deep knowledge in auction-based media like programmatic and paid social
• Experience in owning Traffic driving strategy for a high priority shopping experience
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in professional non-internship marketing
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
