Minimum qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Experience in technical troubleshooting and coding in one or more programming languages.

  • Experience in technical project management, stakeholder management, professional services, solution engineering, or technical consulting.

  • Experience with Data/SQL and web technologies.

  • Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin fluently to support client relationship management in this region.


Preferred qualifications:


  • Knowledge of SQL/MySQL, and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.

  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive technical selections with customer stakeholder groups.

  • Ability to travel to meet with partners and client stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate in Japanese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

  • Ability to manage requests and adapt to varying time zones.

  • Excellent leadership, project management, investigative, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.


About the Job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

In this role, you will work with Business, Product, and Engineering teams to develop better tools and services to improve products based on the evolving needs of users.Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. Responsibilities


  • Analyze and resolve technical problems and roadblocks around data and tools access.

  • Identify opportunities to optimize and automate workflows across projects.

  • Work with Product Managers and Software Engineers to improve or develop new Google tools and products.

  • Collaborate with Consumer and Engineering teams to write codes and implement tools to improve troubleshooting efficiency and the end user experience.

  • Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate with internal teams and external consumers, advertisers, and publishers to provide technical and business feedback and deliver technical solutions.
